Moulana Zakariyya Du Preez is a distinguished Islamic scholar and educator, serving as Imaam and Head of the Islamic Studies Faculty at Al Aashiqeen Islamic Centre. A qualified Aalim from Darul Uloom Azaadville, Moulana Zakariyya has dedicated over a decade to his role as an Imam at the Al Aashiqeen Masjid. His extensive experience and deep knowledge of Islamic sciences have made him a respected leader in the community, committed to providing high-quality Islamic education and guidance to students and congregants alike. Moulana Zakariyya's leadership and dedication are instrumental in fostering a nurturing and spiritually enriching environment at the Al Aashiqeen Islamic Centre.

 

Hafiz Salmaan Domingo:

Head of Hifz at Al-Aashiqeen Islamic Centre

Hafiz Salmaan Domingo is a dedicated and experienced Islamic educator, serving as the Head of Hifz at the Al Aashiqeen Islamic Centre. He is a qualified Hafiz from Darul Uloom Zakariyya and has seven years of experience leading Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan at Al Aashiqeen Masjid. Hafiz Salmaan's expertise in Quranic memorization and his commitment to nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of his students have made him a vital part of the Al Aashiqeen community. His leadership in the Hifz program ensures that students receive personalized and comprehensive guidance on their journey to memorizing the Quran.  

Shaheed Domingo

Head of Technology Department, Al-Aashiqeen Islamic Centre

Shaheed Domingo is the driving force behind the Al Aashiqeen Islamic Centre's technological advancements, leading the Technology Department with a vision of integrating cutting-edge technology to enhance educational delivery. With 37 years of experience in the IT industry, Shaheed brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. His commitment to innovation ensures that Al Aashiqeen remains at the forefront of educational technology. Additionally, Shaheed also does CAT and Entrepreurship training to students and the community, his passion for coaching and mentoring students fosters a supportive learning environment, empowering them to excel in their studies and future careers.   

Ustaad Yahya Allie

Quran Teacher - Junior and Intermediate Students, Al Aashiqeen Islamic Centre

Yahya Allie is an esteemed educator at Al Aashiqeen Islamic Centre, specializing in teaching the Quran to junior and intermediate students. With four years of experience in teaching Maktab, Yahya brings a nurturing and effective approach to Quranic education, helping young learners develop a strong foundation in their Islamic studies. In addition to his teaching role, Yahya serves as the official Muathin at Masjid Al-Aashiqeen, where his melodious and precise call to prayer is a cherished aspect of the community's daily life. His dedication to both education and religious duties highlights his commitment to fostering spiritual growth and learning among the youth.
